Harriet May

Excited by strong minds, inspiring communities and building companies that create an impact, Harriet opened MPA in 2019 and has never looked back!

Harriet is a Professional Dancer in performing arts, Harriet attended vocational training at Italia Conti. Since leaving Harriet has danced extensivley in the UK and overseas.

Her professional career includes performing with X-factors Fleur East, MS Asuka Cruise ship. Filming for Illamasqua cosmetics, touring England in Tap Companies. Tap dancing on “The One Show” directed by Arene Phillips CBE, Dancing in Pixie Lotts music video “Nasty”

Qualifications include; ISTD Dance, Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS), First Aid, DBS & Chaperone License, Dance Fitness instruction, Level 2 Gym instructing.

My aim is to provide the students with the best tuition and guidance as possible. I thrive off inspiring the pupils, building confidence and creativity! I believe there is nothing more magical than bringing creations and styles to life.

 
 

Head of Singing - Emily Moore

Emily is a professional singer, dancer and actress. Emily worked on cruise ships as a lead singer for 3 years.

Emily Graduated from Bodywork Company Dance Studios 3 years ago & went straight into her first professional job as a lead vocalist with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line & a further 2 contracts with Holland America Line where she was also vocal captain. 

From training for years and now working as a professional, Emily has been fortunate enough to learn from some amazing teachers, artists & her fellow cruise ship cast members from all over the world.

Emily has gained a lot of knowledge, confidence & discipline with her career & love’s to share her passion & experiences with the students at MPA.

Head of Ballet - Rosie Watts

Having developed a love of teaching through assisting at classes from the age of 13, Rosie studied for her degree with the Royal Academy of Dance. She graduated in 2020 with BA (hons) Dance Education. While studying for her degree, Rosie also trained for her ISTD DDE Imperial Classical Ballet at Bird College. After graduating, she has trained in Progressing Ballet Technique, to be able to teach further ballet-specific conditioning and training methods.
Rosie’s aim is to inspire a love of learning ballet and an appreciation for the dance form, so that students look forward to classes and learn as much as possible. She is eager to make ballet both accessible and interesting, whilst promoting best technique and safe dance practice for all grades and ages.

 
 

Singing, Acting and Musical Theatre -

Avalon Lilly

Avalon Lilly graduated from The London College of Music in 2019 with a first-class honours degree in Musical Theatre. Since graduating, She has worked internationally as a lead vocalist/dancer and most recently, featured as a soloist in the 2021 Thursford 'Christmas Spectacular'. Alongside Avalon’s training and throughout her professional career, She’s taught Musical Theatre, Dance and Singing classes to a range of ages. Avalon’s aim is to inspire confidence and creativity! She is incredibly enthusiastic about providing enriching and motivational classes, helping the children to improve their craft, whilst also stimulating my own!
