This page will be your GLORY Information Hub, so please bookmark it and refer back to it in the lead-up to the show.

We’ll be adding all the important information here, including costumes, hair, what to bring, class requirements, rehearsal information and final show-day arrangements.

GLORY Christmas Jazz 2026 is going to be such a gorgeous way to finish another wonderful year together at MPA.

TICKETS & SEATING

GLORY sells out every year, so please book your tickets early! 🎄✨

This year, seating will be split into
three sections:

 A • B • C

Simply choose your preferred section
when booking. There are no individual seat
numbers
, so when you arrive,
you can choose any available seat within your
booked section. This allows a little more
organisation when you find your seats.

ACCESSIBLE SEATING- [wheelchair access]

We have designated accessible seating available for those who require it.

As GLORY takes place inside a church, space for accessible seating is limited. If you are attending as part of a larger group [4 or  more] we may not
be able to seat your whole party directly together,
but we will always do our very best to
accommodate everyone.

If you require accessible seating, please
let us know and select the accessible seating when booking so we can make sure the correct
space is reserved for you.

📵 MOBILE PHONES

To avoid interference with our sound system, GLORY will be a phone-free space for all students this year.

Students: Please do not bring mobile phones into the church. If your child needs to bring one, it must be switched off and handed to Reception on arrival, where it will be stored safely until collection.

Audience: We kindly ask that all phones are placed on Airplane Mode for the duration of the performance. As we are working within a very small space, phone signals can interfere with our sound equipment, which we experienced during last year’s show.

PARENT HELPERS

We are looking for a small number of parent volunteers to support us during our GLORY performances.

If you are available to help during a performanc or even stay with us between shows, your support would be greatly appreciated.

Parents who already hold a chaperone licence would be particularly helpful, however we would also love to hear from those with a current DBS.

If you are able to help, please get in touch and let us know which performance(s) you are available for.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support in helping us make these events possible. 💗

COSTUMES, HAIR & FOOTWEAR

WHAT TO BRING

As space at the church is extremely limited, we need to keep backstage areas as clear and clutter free as possible. Please only bring the essentials below:

  • Snacks/food in a named lunch box

  • Black jazz shoes OR new yorkers.
Please arrive wearing these, if it’s raining please change into your performance shoes on arrival at reception and give your outdoor shoes to your parent/guardian there is sadly no where to store outdoor shoes.

  • MPA jumper or plain black jumper only. Please do not bring coats inside the church.

  •  Any medication, including inhalers, must be clearly named, placed in a labelled box and handed directly to Rachel at Reception on arrival.

  • NO BAGS PLEASE! We sadly don’t have the space to store them safely.
